Golden Ratio

Golden Ratio (ϕ)
1. There's a common mathematical ratio found in nature that can be used to create pleasing, natural looking compositions in your design work.

For example  a=13, b=8
Golden ratio = a+b/a=a/b = Φ
                      = 13+8/13=8/5 = Φ
                  Φ = 21/13=8/5=8/5 = 1.618....
3. when a line is divided into two parts and the longer part (a) divided by the smaller part (b) is equal to the sum of (a) + (b) divided by (a), which both equal 1.618.
